United States2020 interview · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role where the process heavily emphasized MBM mindset and behavioral fit, usually paired with a few technical checks, across late 2020.

HR screen (MBM + situational) — I was asked about MBM principles, my role context, and situational “how would you respond” questions.
Technical round (JD/profile coverage, sometimes cases/coding) — depending on the journey, I faced technology questions or applied cases (including examples of implementing case studies) rather than only pure theory.
Onsite / panel rounds (non-technical situational) — I went through additional panel conversations focused on behavior and fit.
HR discussion / closing — for at least one flow, a final discussion included compensation
