My interview journey started with an aptitude-style assessment and then moved into an interview largely centered on core subject knowledge, project history, and internship experience.

Computer-based test — an online assessment with aptitude and core subject multiple-choice questions.
Technical interview — questions based on SOM/Thermo/FM (from basic to intermediate), plus a lot of discussion of my project work and internship experience.
Outcome — no offer; the overall feel suggested they were testing both fundamentals and how I’d applied them in projects. Outcome: No offer, with the takeaway to strengthen the relevant core-subject coverage alongside clear project narratives.
