Koch Software Engineer interview experience

United StatesPosted Sep 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a short recruiter-led process with mostly behavioral questions and a quick but ultimately non-offer outcome.

Recruiter screen — ~30-minute call covering my background, salary/location preferences, and a few behavioral prompts (e.g., how I handle conflict); no technical focus.
Panel process / scheduling call — I received a phone call and was scheduled quickly, then went through a panel; I ultimately didn’t get closure for a long time before learning they chose someone else. Outcome: No offer; the experience felt straightforward but the final decision communication was slow.
