I interviewed for Software Engineer at Koch Minerals and Trading in a more limited or uncertain pipeline, with some focus on accomplishments and company knowledge and unclear next steps.

Accomplishment-focused discussion — Interviewers were mechanical engineers rather than hiring managers, so I expected more technical-adjacent questions; I discussed what I accomplished and what I knew about the company.
Applied, then waited — I applied via a job listing and Koch’s pipeline website, got HR outreach to schedule a next-day interview, but was still waiting afterward for a second interview.
Quickly scheduled panel then long silence — I was contacted by phone and scheduled quickly, then did panel interviews; it took a long time to learn the decision.
