Wichita, KSPosted Oct 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a positive conversation after attending a career fair, but the process ended with long silence and an eventual rejection.

Career fair follow-up interview — I had a good interview with solid conversation after the career fair.
Waiting period — I didn’t hear back for over a month, even after emailing for status updates.
Rejection communication — they eventually indicated I was supposed to hear back weeks earlier, and then sent a rejection.
Outcome — no offer; the main takeaway was unprofessional communication and delays. Outcome: No offer, with the takeaway that follow-up responsiveness here can be unreliable even after a good interview.
