Klaviyo Software Engineer interview experience

The prompt was straightforward but still concrete: I had to find a bug in a Python program. It felt like a direct way to test whether I could reason through code, not just memorize algorithms.

Later, the interviews I went through were described as an intense and exhaustive review of both my experience and technical abilities. I ended up being evaluated across multiple rounds that combined algorithm-focused coding with systems design and architecture. The emphasis felt less about reciting theory and more about digging into the systems I’d built and maintained—the good parts and the messy
