My process felt pretty rigorous and time-consuming even though the rounds themselves weren’t described as conceptually impossible.

It started with an online assessment, then moved into a long superday.

On superday, I had a behavioral session along with API design and system design. The material wasn’t framed as “gotchas” up front, but the difficulty came from finding the right optimization details under the constraints of the interviews. I left feeling like I was working through the hardest parts more than I was running out of basic knowledge.

I didn’t get an offer, and what stuck with me was the contrast between “the requirements don’t sound hard” and how tricky the optimization components ended up being in practice.
