One part of the process caught me by surprise: they asked me to code, not just talk through my background.

I also had limited time to respond during the interview itself, which made the whole experience feel more like a test of quick thinking than a relaxed discussion.

The rest was the kind of regular questioning I could anticipate, but my preparation ended up being only partially useful because the coding piece was a distinct hurdle. Even though the interview questions felt familiar at a high level, the time pressure and the coding requirement were what really shaped how I experienced it.
