After a recruiter reached out, I went straight into a short call with a director.

It was about half an hour, and she started by walking through my resume with a couple of clarifying questions. Then she asked a technical question focused on RAG, keeping it grounded in how I’d think about the approach. Near the end, she asked whether I had any questions for her, and that was essentially the full interaction.

Overall it felt manageable and fairly focused, not a high-pressure marathon. The difficulty matched an early-stage screen, and I left feeling like I’d answered clearly enough to justify moving forward, but I didn’t end up getting an offer.
