My recruiter phone screen was followed by product sense and execution interviews that were grounded in specific product experience.

I was asked about product journeys from Instacart as well as comparable products from other companies, and the interviewer seemed focused on assessing PM capabilities rather than tying the questions to a single narrow role.

The interview was difficult overall, and it felt like they expected me to connect my product thinking across multiple examples, not just talk at a high level. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the clarity that the questions were about PM fundamentals was one thing that stayed consistent.
