Seattle, WAPosted Apr 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview felt like it had all the elements on paper, but the execution didn’t work for me.

The interviewer introduced himself, I introduced myself, and then he asked me to present my showcase. While I was speaking, I had the uneasy sense his attention wasn’t on me—I noticed him looking down, and he didn’t ask about my code or challenge anything.

There were no real follow-ups or feedback, and he seemed to be rushing to finish. He reminded me the time was ending, then left me with almost no room to ask even a quick question at the end. Two days later I got a rejection email, and I followed up politely asking for feedback, but I didn’t hear back.

I wasn’t upset about being rejected
