Imperial College London Research Analyst interview experience

The discussion focused on building a digital simulation or model for aircraft wing dynamic loads, with the technical framing running through statistical analysis, identification of vibration loads, and frequency response function ideas. They didn’t just ask whether I’d heard of these topics—they probed my understanding of how the methods connect.

The tone felt technical and domain-specific rather than generic behavioral. When I answered, I had to talk through the reasoning behind the modeling choices and how I approached signal processing and related frequency-domain concepts. Overall it
