IFS Software Engineer interview experience

There were three interviewers, and despite it being a professional setting, their questions didn’t end up evaluating my experience in a way that felt fair. I kept getting pushed toward overly simple questions that made me second-guess what level they were actually trying to test.

It wasn’t that the process was strictly hostile, but the mismatch in difficulty threw me off the entire time. By the end, I wasn’t offered the role, and my honest reflection was that even a “comfortable” interview can feel bad if the questioning doesn’t align with what they claim to be assessing.
