My interview process was mostly lightweight and centered on phone conversations.

First, I had a call to introduce the opportunity and discuss job-specific questions, especially around changes happening at the company. After that, I sent a follow-up email with additional questions and concerns.

It was unusual in its simplicity compared to the more traditional multi-round formats, and the whole thing felt focused on fit and clarity rather than deep technical problem-solving.

Even with the two-step phone/email flow, I didn’t end up getting an offer.
