I got reached out to by an ICF recruiter out of the blue while the job ad was still live.

The pre-screening felt impromptu and fairly quick, and I soon progressed to a round with the hiring manager. Not long after that, I heard I was moving into a third round with additional colleagues.

Then the momentum stopped hard. After several conversations back-to-back, I went quiet for more than two weeks with no updates, even though the job posting was still visible. Watching the timeline stretch out—without any communication—made me genuinely wonder whether I was still being considered or whether the role had already effectively closed and they were just keeping the process open.
