A lot of the emphasis I noticed was on basic language fundamentals, because the format included a written paper and then several one-on-one rounds.

The process didn’t feel like it was trying to surprise me with complicated trick questions. Instead, it leaned on checking consistency and whether I could handle the foundational skills the role would require.

I didn’t end up with an offer, and the honest part of my reflection was that the written and multi-round setup increased how important it was to be steady across formats, not just strong in conversation.
