My interview ran through three rounds, and what was memorable was that it ended at a pub with hanging out with the future team.

The overall tone felt social and friendly, and the fit mattered because I got along with the people I was meeting. That made the conversations easier and less like a strict checklist.

Technically, there was some content to cover—enough to get the point across—but it wasn’t over the top. The rounds felt like a blend of assessing how I’d work day to day and verifying I could handle the technical expectations without turning it into a marathon. The process went well in terms of comfort, but I still didn’t receive an offer, and I reflected that chemistry with the team can help—yet it doesn’t
