I interviewed for the Software Engineer role in a way that felt lighter on coding and heavier on fundamentals and communication, using a hiring-manager-first approach.

Hiring manager interview (video) — I joined via video and was surprised there were no coding questions; instead, I discussed cloud fundamentals and scripting experience.
Two-stage format (HR then engineering team) — in another similar flow, I expected HR-focused soft-skill and personality questions, followed by engineering technical questions. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that explaining cloud and scripting experience can matter more than coding in some rounds.
