Hays Consultant interview experience

The interviewer said it would be an introductory chat, but they largely ignored the details of my CV and immediately shifted into technical questions.

It made the whole conversation feel less like a two-way evaluation and more like they were following a script based on the role rather than my specific background. Even though the staff were engaged enough to ask questions, the mismatch in how they used my CV left me feeling off-balance. In the end, it didn’t lead to an offer, and I walked away thinking the process could have started from a stronger understanding of my experience.
