London, EnglandPosted May 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first round didn’t really test my technical skills at all—it was more of a general conversation about my background and prior careers.

There wasn’t much clarification about what they were looking for during that discussion, and I didn’t get invited to the second interview.

What made it feel especially frustrating is that the whole process seemed to hinge on ambiguous signals. Even in another experience where I did get deeper into scheduling and interviews, coordination issues and late starts caused real lost time around what should have been straightforward evaluation. Put together, it left me with the same takeaway: if the process doesn’t communicate clearly or runs on poor coordination, it can turn a neutral conversation
