I had an interview that ended with an on-the-spot hire, but the process stalled afterward with no real follow-through.

In-person interview / immediate decision — I was told I was hired right away and was excited to start.
Post-interview silence — When nothing happened, I reached out repeatedly to the hiring manager with emails and calls and received no response.

Outcome: I didn’t ultimately get beyond the initial “hired” conversation, and the takeaway was that communication after the interview is just as important as the decision.
