Goldman Sachs Software Engineer interview experience

LondonPosted Sep 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process kicked off with a CoderPad interview for a Software Engineer role at Goldman Sachs (London, analyst level).

I worked through both of the questions they gave me and felt reasonably solid about finishing them.

What was hardest wasn’t the technical work—it was waiting. It ended up dragging on for about two months with no response. I kept reaching out with messages a few times asking for feedback, but I didn’t get anything back. Eventually I started to feel stuck in limbo, even though I’d already completed the coding part and submitted solutions.
