Goldman Sachs Software Engineer interview experience

I was asked basic coding and technical questions, and I also had to solve a few simple math problems.

The interviewer was accommodating about scheduling and kept the session moving at a comfortable pace. It didn’t feel adversarial or overly tricky; the questions were more about whether I could communicate clearly and handle standard problem-solving.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but I left feeling like the bar was clearer than usual and that I knew where I stood during the conversation.
