GlobalFoundries Software Engineer interview experience

It lasted about six hours, and the experience felt relentless in a way I hadn’t expected. By the end, I was mostly focused on staying inside whatever the required format was.

A big detail I remember is the minimum word count expectation—there was some requirement around hitting a minimum of thirty words, and it turned into something that felt strangely hard to manage. The time dragged, and the whole thing felt more like a structured assessment format than normal conversational interviewing.

The difficulty was difficult, and the length alone made it exhausting. I didn’t receive an offer.
