This interview took about four hours with six interviewers, including managers and senior employees.

The format included a research presentation followed by a 1:1 interview.

Most of the questions centered on what I studied in school, with a strong emphasis on device physics knowledge. It felt like they wanted to connect my academic background directly to how I would approach the role.

I didn’t get the offer, but I remember the day as fairly immersive because so many senior people spent time evaluating me. My reflection was that the extensive panel made the process feel high-stakes, even if the questions were anchored to my background.
