GlobalFoundries Software Engineer interview experience

I had a one-day telephonic round, and there were about two people interviewing me, though four people were on the call.

The question topics included the life cycle of MVC, differences between render body versus render page, and select clause. The focus felt very specific to building with MVC-style concepts rather than broad general questions.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I walked away thinking the conversation was targeted. My reflection was that I knew what they were testing, yet that also made it clear how much the exact technical details mattered for their decision.
