GlobalFoundries Software Engineer interview experience

Santa Clara, CAPosted Jun 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview process felt fairly standard.

I had two rounds of technical interviews plus an initial round with the manager, and I’d applied through a careers website.

After I was contacted by the manager, everything was scheduled and then I had an onsite interview. The total flow didn’t feel drawn out, and it seemed like they were using the onsite to confirm technical fit and alignment with what the manager expected.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience didn’t feel chaotic. My reflection was that it was straightforward enough to understand what the process was trying to check, even though I ultimately didn’t make the cut.
