GlobalFoundries Software Engineer interview experience

I came in through a referral, and an HR representative reached out to coordinate schedules quickly by asking about my availability.

I ended up with the interview set up at the earliest time, and then a senior team member called me directly for the interview.

The interview lasted about an hour, and the whole process moved in roughly a one-week window across several steps. It started with a phone interview, and then it progressed to an onsite interview.

What I remember most was how fast the scheduling turned into actual conversations. Even though I didn’t receive an offer, the short timeline and the senior person joining the process made it feel like they were actively assessing fit rather than running a slow pipeline.
