GlobalFoundries QA Automation Engineer interview experience

I began with an initial call with a recruiter, then moved into a conversation where we went over my resume with a head engineer, and after that I went through an on-site interview.

The whole experience felt welcoming and more conversational than formal, which helped reduce the stress. What really stood out to me was what happened after I finished the on-site, which required a significant time commitment. I was then informed that they were still actively interviewing other candidates.

I understood it was part of the hiring process, but hearing that late in the timeline was honestly shocking.
