I interviewed for a Software Engineer role through a multi-stage process and passed each step, but I was ultimately rejected for a specific gap related to LLM experience.

Application + screening + assessment — an extensive process with an application, screening call, and an assessment.
Technical interview — I completed the technical interview successfully.
Team interview — during the team interview, I was told I wasn’t selected due to insufficient large language model (LLM) experience.

Outcome: No offer; it was frustrating because my background was in AI/computer vision and the feedback suggested the final decision hinged on LLM exposure.
