I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with strong early signals but no follow-through afterward.

Screening call — a 40-minute conversation to assess fit.
Technical interview — a 90-minute session.
Behavioral (hiring manager) — a 60-minute STAR-style behavioral interview.
Behavioral (manager’s manager) — another 60-minute behavioral interview. Outcome: I didn’t get a response after the final stage; the takeaway was that even with good feedback and promised timing, lack of recruiter communication creates uncertainty.
