General Dynamics Information Technology Software Engineer interview experience

At first, everything sounded promising, and I even got verbal confirmation that paperwork would come next to move me into onboarding. The interviews themselves were limited to just two conversations—partly because they seemed to have missed logging my first session properly.

Even with that early confidence, it didn’t turn into an offer. About three weeks later, I received a rejection email instead of the next steps I’d been told to expect. The worst part wasn’t the rejection by itself—it was the mismatch between what I was told and what happened, which made the professionalism feel careless.
