GEICO Software Engineer interview experience

I first met with the recruiter and then scheduled my technical interview for the following week.

Going in, I didn’t have much to complain about on the logistics side, but the day of the technical interview the hiring manager joined about seven minutes late, and the vibe felt like they didn’t really want to be there.

That made the interview emotionally harder than it otherwise might’ve been, even though the technical portion was what it was supposed to be. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and honestly the delay and the cold energy colored everything that followed.
