I went through a pre-interview assessment plus separate technical and HR-oriented conversations for a Software Engineer role, without progressing to an offer.

Online assessment (MCQ) — about a week before, I completed an online multiple-choice test mixing technical topics and aptitude questions.
Technical interview — a one-on-one technical discussion first, led by an engineer from a turbine division; it focused on my technical background.
HR round — after technical evaluation, an HR round assessed personality and interest in the role. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that the process emphasized both baseline technical screening and motivation/fit.
