GE Vernova Software Engineer interview experience

IndiaPosted Mar 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a tougher but still well-structured flow centered on Salesforce/Apex-style technical concepts, then a hiring-manager style behavioral discussion.

HR touchpoint / initial HR call — An HR conversation to coordinate and then conduct a smooth HR screen.
Technical interview (coding/concepts) — I worked through an algorithms-style task and another interview that focused on Apex concepts being tested.
Hiring manager round: technical + behavior — I combined role-related technical discussion with behavioral questions guided by the hiring manager.
Outcome: Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was to be ready to go deeper on the platform-specific concepts (like Apex) plus clear behavioral stories.
