GE Aerospace Software Engineer interview experience

Negative

United StatesPosted Aug 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I ran into an unusually negative process experience marked by missed interviews, late/absent participants, and unclear follow-through.

Scheduling / interview not properly executed — an initial interview was missed by the company.
Long interview with poor attendance — the second attempt was a 4-hour session with many people late or not showing up, leaving me with very limited time with the hiring manager.
Availability-related escalation — when I tried to speak further with the hiring manager, an offer was rescinded due to my availability. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway is to be cautious when the process feels inconsistent or unfair.
