I experienced a friendly, low-stress interview set-up where the interactions felt chill, even though I sometimes wished the technical depth were higher.

Panel/interviewer conversation (early round) — I was asked about my background and went through a mostly conversational exchange.
Hiring manager/team discussions — further meetings with manager(s) and engineering colleagues; in one case I spoke with the hiring manager and then joined a panel.
Project-team panel — another round included a panel of engineers working on the project area. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that rapport and clarity mattered, but the technical testing varied significantly between interviews.
