Chicago, ILPosted May 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I flew out to Chicago for an all-day interview that was genuinely laid back.

The culture felt great and the atmosphere was friendly and easygoing, even though it was still presented in a professional way. I remember thinking the day didn’t feel like a stressful interrogation; it felt more like candid conversations, and I didn’t really feel like I was being tested.

Across roughly a dozen hours of interviewing, I was eventually offered the position. The discussions felt honest rather than performative, and by the end I had a pretty clear sense of where things stood.

Looking back, the biggest note was that it didn’t feel like a typical high-pressure interview
