I went through a more assessment-heavy path for Fiverr’s Software Engineer role: an HR intro, then either a timed coding task or a structured technical interview with system design emphasis; the process felt average overall and varied by interviewer.

HR conversation + scheduling — I spoke with HR and then got scheduled for the next step.
Timed tech task on HackerRank — I had a 2-hour task with a choice between a React-based chat app (using an existing codebase and 3rd-party API) or a vanilla JS track.
Project + complexity discussion (no pure algorithms) — In another run, I had a 30-minute call and then a longer interview focused on explaining past projects and handling complexity questions.
Hands-on onsite coding + written test — One older process included building a todo app on their MacBook plus a 1-hour test
