I interviewed for software engineering through a mixed HR + hiring-manager + technical sequence that could include multiple leadership conversations.

HR screen and hiring-manager discussion — I started with an HR screening call, then a call with the hiring manager covering background and skills.
Technical: system design + coding — Next was a technical interview that combined system design with a coding question.
Additional interviews: hiring manager/HR/management — After that, I expected more technical and leadership-focused conversations plus HR and management steps. Outcome: I didn’t reach a clear positive end result from this description, but the process structure was the key takeaway.
