My first interview mostly felt like a run-through of the benefits and compensation rather than a deep dive into the specifics of the job.

It was still clear and structured, and I didn’t feel totally lost, but I left that first step wanting to learn more.

The second interview was better for that reason. I got to speak with a current account executive, which made the conversation feel more real and grounded in what the role actually looked like day to day. That gave me a much clearer sense of what I’d be walking into compared to the initial discussion.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the difference between the two rounds helped explain why the process felt a little uneven at first and then more informative after.
