I started with a phone conversation with an external recruiter.

The questions were basic and centered on my resume, so it felt like a straightforward fit check. Then I moved into a video call with the Italy lead, where the conversation shifted toward my prior experience in finance and business development.

The interviews felt more grounded in understanding my background than in trying to trip me up. Even though it was early-stage and fairly direct, it gave me a clear picture of what they cared about for the role. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the process itself was coherent and focused on relevant parts of my experience.
