Tampa, FLPosted Feb 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a recruiter call that went well for a sales role, but after that I didn’t hear anything back.

I followed up by email several times, and eventually I received a generic message saying I didn’t meet the qualifications.

What made it sting was that I was looking at an entry-level sales position with a requirement of no sales experience and relatively low pay. Based on that mismatch, the outcome felt dismissive rather than thoughtful, and it didn’t feel like my application was handled with care once the call was done.
