I went through a tougher-than-average set of FICO interviews focused on Java/Spring microservices, but I didn’t get an offer.

Two technical rounds (Java/Spring/Kafka microservices) — I had two one-on-one style interviews emphasizing Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Kafka-style microservices topics, with follow-up questions based on what I answered.
Fundamentals-focused interview variant — In another similar experience, the questions were framed around good fundamentals rather than extreme difficulty, but the emphasis still stayed on core knowledge. Outcome: No offer; the microservices round required depth across the stack and fast, iterative follow-ups.
