I went through an on-campus recruiting format that was structured into several rounds (including group and design/system work) with varying difficulty.

Group discussion — a collaborative discussion step as part of the shortlisting.
System design (separate) — a dedicated system design round where I couldn’t clear the round in one case.
Technical interview + behavioral — a technical interview plus behavioral questions.
HR round (behavioral) — fit-focused discussion to conclude. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that system design and behavioral assessment played a decisive role, not just coding.
