Fairfax, VAPosted Apr 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had mixed experiences across outreach and interview scheduling at FICO—ranging from cordial discussions to straightforward entry-level screens.

Local team discussion / follow-up — a cordial conversation with a team leader to discuss development work.
On-site interview scheduling (role/background focused) — an on-site discussion mainly assessing my background for the position.
Entry-level/college-style interviews — one technical and one HR round, with communication and fit being emphasized.

Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that some steps were less about deep coding and more about role alignment and clear communication.
