I applied through a referral for a GenAI-oriented team, but the interview journey felt disorganized and dragged out, despite an initially strong technical discussion.

Round 1: Technical discussion (no coding) — a 45-minute chat covering Python fundamentals, GenAI concepts, vector database usage, and cache implementation; it went well and left me confident.
Round 2: Scheduling issues — the interviewer didn’t join after a scheduled call; multiple rescheduling attempts followed, including direct outreach, and then no response after I couldn’t attend. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the key takeaway was that the process felt unstructured and suffered from operational/professional lapses.
