San Jose, CAPosted Jul 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with one telephonic technical screen followed by several short 1:1 sessions that tested breadth of fundamentals.

Telephonic technical screening — initial technical screening.
1:1 technical interviews (three half-hour sessions) — each interview was a short deep dive covering OOP concepts, design patterns, database fundamentals, and problem analysis.
Scenario discussion — questions also probed best practices, implementation issues, and how I would resolve them. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway was that they evaluated how I reasoned about design and troubleshooting, not just isolated coding.
