Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had two technical questions focused on user events and core data structures.

The first asked me to process a sequence of user events and return a count of users at each step in a defined output format. The second centered on an in-memory file system and pushed me to use the trie data structure as part of the solution.

It felt like a test of both reasoning and implementation—getting the data handling right mattered as much as choosing the right structure. I left with the impression that the interview was evaluating how reliably I could carry those concepts through to code.
