The process I went through mixed technical questions with a soft-skills assessment.

The interviewer was very professional and the whole interaction felt fair, not adversarial. I answered around how I approached my work, but they also pulled in technical elements tied to what I’d done before.

A case study also came up, and my impression was that they were combining my explanations with how I performed when thinking through a structured scenario. It wasn’t the most relaxed screening I’ve done, but it didn’t feel like they were trying to trick me either.
